The Sanctum Guard, or Temple Guard, was a Ko-Matoran-run Military organization that worked primarily to guard Ko-Koro. They were apparently very stoic, as they would often stand guard long enough to let ice and snow settle on them. Their equipment includes Pickaxes.
When the Matoran returned to Metru Nui, the Ko-Matoran continued the Guard by protecting Ko-Metru.
