Peaceful creatures whom look formidable, Razor Whales have no natural enemy. They have a row of spines down their tail which usually are enough to scare off predators. At some time in the whale's life, the spines in its tail fall off for some unknown reason. Strangely enough, once the spines of a Razor Whale have fallen off, these Rahi become easier to tame. Toa Hordika Nokama made an extra effort to protect these creatures from the Visorak, but since few specimens were seen off the Mata Nui coast, it isn't known how successful she was. In the Pit, however, Razor Whales can be found at Razor Whale's Teeth.
Razor Whales are said to have some relation to the smaller Razorfish.
Trivia
- The Razor Whale was sent as an entry in to LEGO as part of the LEGO Magazine Rahi-building Contest. It was created by Lawrence Vanderbush and given a name and story role by Greg Farshtey in the book BIONICLE: Rahi Beasts.
- The Razor Whale is Nocturn's favorite food.
- The Matoran in the picture does not exist, simply because it was fan-made and Kanohi for Matoran in the shape of a Kanohi Nuva have not yet been forged.
