Pahrak-Kal was one of the Bohrok-Kal, six elite Bohrok with powers far beyond that of their fellow Bohrok. Their goal was to find and free the Bahrag so that the swarms could be unleashed once more. When the Toa Mata trapped the Bahrag, the Bahrag sent a telepathic signal to awaken the Bohrok-Kal. The Kal began their task by collecting the six Nuva Symbols that held the Toa Nuva's elemental powers. Pahrak-Kal journeyed to Po-Koro and stole Pohatu Nuva's symbol. It was Pahrak-Kal that discovered where the Bahrag were hidden.

Biography
Pahrak-Kal was created as an ordinary Pahrak, which was then exposed to a mutagenic substance by the Bahrag, transforming it into Pahrak-Kal. No one knows when the Bohrok-Kal first made their appearance above the surface of the island of Mata Nui. Pahrak-Kal was the one who stole Pohatu Nuva's symbol, with the help of Gahlok-Kal. Pahrak-Kal was once defeated by Jaller, who grabbed its Krana-Kal from it while it was boasting.
It helped stop the Toa Nuva from finding their Kanohi Nuva, under instruction from Tahnok-Kal. It was Pahrak-Kal who discovered the location of the Bahrag and led the other members of the Bohrok-Kal squad to it. Upon arriving at the cave where the Bahrag were imprisoned, it easily melted through the rock slide covering its entrance. After the Bohrok-Kal found out where the Bahrag were hidden, they journeyed there with the symbols, the Toa Nuva following them. When Pahrak-Kal and the others got to the caves, they found the Exo-Toa suits empty and fighting off the Bohrok-Kal. They then proceeded to place the symbols on the 'lock' which was a floating cube with the six symbols engraved upon it. Its Krana-Kal turned silver, protecting it from all harm. It seemed like the Bohrok Swarms would plague the island once again.
However, using a technique of will through their connection to the symbols that Gali Nuva thought up, the Toa Nuva symbols sent a burst of power through the Bohrok-Kal. Pahrak-Kal absorbed the power, causing its Plasma Shields to let off such intense heat that the ground below it melted and it sank into the center of the planet, where it and its Krana-Kal were destroyed.
Abilities and Traits
Pahrak-Kal was a slow-moving yet nearly unstoppable Bohrok-Kal. It was gifted with the powers of Plasma, which allowed it to turn any obstacle to plasma, superheat the air around it, and destroy nearly any substance.
Tools
Pahrak-Kal used its Plasma Shields to channel its Plasma powers.
Set Information
Pahrak-Kal set was released early in 2003. It contained 40 pieces, with each set typically having a randomly packed dark silver-colored Krana-Kal. However, 72 random Bohrok-Kal sets were packed with sterling silver Krana-Kal and 5000 with white metal Krana-Kal. The Tahnok-Kal and Nuhvok-Kal sets can be combined with the Pahrak-Kal set to create a Bohrok-Kal Kaita Za.
