Other Matoran Types

Although none have yet made appearances in the story, there are Other Elemental Matoran Types besides the ten seen so far. We know that such Matoran must exist because Toa of these Elements exist, and those Toa were first Matoran. The other Matoran types known to exist are:
Known Matoran
- Jovan (Magnetism) - Transformed into a Toa.
- Nikila (Lightning) - Transformed into a Toa.
- Unnamed Matoran of Gravity who became a Toa of Lesovikk's Team.
- Unnamed Matoran of Plasma, Gravity, and Plant Life who turned into other Toa.
Other Types
In addition to the types listed above, there are even more elements possessed by Matoran. However, these elements have not been revealed yet. These other elemental Matoran do exist, however, as there were Toa of unseen elements during the Toa/Dark Hunter War, and these Toa were once Matoran.
