- "When we came to the realm of Karzahni in pursuit of Icarax, we found hundreds of Matoran, their spirits as crushed as their bodies were distorted."
- — Gali, Toa Nuva Blog
Other "Fixed" Matoran were Matoran who were sent to Karzahni from different islands to be fixed. However, Karzahni was not good at his job, and rebuilt the Matoran entirely with new, weaker bodies. To make up for this, Karzahni gave them weapons to better defend themselves. After being rebuilt, Karzahni sent the Matoran to the Southern Continent, hoping this way, he would never see them again and remind him of his failure. Some of these Matoran ended up on Voya Nui.
Once the Matoran noticed their friends were not returning after going to Karzahni, Matoran stopped going there. Enraged, Karzahni trapped the remaining Matoran in his realm. These Matoran have been traumatized by a long detention, but after Karzahni left his realm, the Toa Nuva convinced them to travel to Metru Nui. These Matoran were rebuilt by the Turaga there into stronger forms again.
