Organic Rahi

Organic Rahi are a type of Rahi that can be split into two categories: Rahi that live on the BIONICLE Planet, and organic Rahi in the Matoran Universe. Organic Rahi in the Matoran Universe have no biomechanical parts, but are still made from organic Protodermis. Organic Rahi that live on the BIONICLE Planet are unlike all life inside the Matoran Universe in that there is no protodermis whatsoever in their bodies, in addition to having no biomechanical parts. These Rahi could actually be classified as animals, and are native to the BIONICLE Planet.
Unlike biomechanical Rahi, organic creatures on the BIONICLE Planet reproduce biologically. Although there may be some variety in the way this is achieved, it is known that Sea Squids, at least, lay eggs. Also, biological Rahi from the planet were not created by the Brotherhood of Makuta, unlike almost all other Rahi in their Universe. Some of these creatures are in the army of the Barraki, such as Sea Squids.
