[carve] Plot Summary

Turaga Nokama was sharing the tales of the Toa Mata with the Matoran around the fire in Ga-Koro and told of how Mata Nui was once a paradise, but then Teridax came, bringing darkness and fear. However, six mighty heroes - Lewa, Kopaka, Tahu, Gali, Onua, and Pohatu - appeared to save the island. They needed to collect six Great Kanohi Masks of Power, and challenge Teridax's Rahi. Eventually, after many battles, they traveled to Mangaia and merged into two Toa Kaita - Akamai and Wairuha, and defeated the Manas by slowing them down with cold. Even after defeating Teridax, however, a new threat rose from beneath the surface; the Bohrok swarm.
