The Lava Chamber Gate is the gate to the Chamber of Life. The Toa Inika battled against the Piraka here, during which Kongu destroyed the bridge with a tornado in an attempt to stop Zaktan.

The Lava Chamber Gate was released as a set in the summer of 2006. It was the second largest playset that year. The set featured minifigures of the Toa Inika Matoro, Hahli, and Nuparu, as well as of the Piraka Zaktan, Hakann, Vezok, and Avak.

At the top of each of the towers was a button that when pressed or hit with a Zamor Sphere released the chains that held the bridge together. Other than that, many non-canon features found their way into the set, including a Zamor Sphere catapult atop one tower, a Zamor Launcher atop the opposite tower, and three Lavaboards for the Inika, two of which featured Zamor launchers.
