The Krana Pits were deep wells on the island of Mata Nui.
History
After the Toa Mata imprisoned the Bahrag in a Toa Seal, the Matoran collected Krana from the inactive Bohrok. They deposited the Krana in deep wells all over the island. Freed from the influence of the Krana, the Bohrok assisted in the sealing of the Pits. Following the Attack on Ga-Koro, a pit was built on the shores of Ga-Wahi into which Takua, Jaller and Nuparu dumped the Pahrak Krana and sealed with a large boulder. The Pits were marked with a tablet depicting a Krana and the word "Beware".
When the Bohrok were reawakened, the Pits were destroyed.
