The Krana Pits were deep wells in which the Matoran deposited the inactive Krana after the Bohrok defeat at the hands of the Toa Mata. Freed from the influence of the Krana, the Bohrok assisted in the sealing of the Pits. Only one of the Pits, the Ga-Wahi Pit containing the Pahrak Krana, has ever been featured, but similar pits existed all over the island. The Pits were marked with a tablet depicting a Krana and the word "Beware".

When the Bohrok were reawakened, the Pits were destroyed; the fate of the Krana inside is unknown.
