[carve] History
Kohrak, like all other Bohrok breeds, were kept in stasis for thousands of years, waiting to be awakened to perform their duties of clearing Mata Nui. They were awoken prematurely by a desperate Teridax, and assumed it was time to cleanse, and set out to perform their duties.
A swarm of Kohrak, along with Pahrak, assaulted Ta-Koro, only to encounter an unexpected obstacle; the Toa Mata. They were able to temporarily defeat the Toa, until two of their number managed to create a large storm, driving the swarms off.
The Kohrak, along with the other swarms, continued their attempts to cleanse Mata Nui, combating all obstacles in their way. When the Bahrag were defeated by the Toa the Kohrak were rendered immobile, with no direction. The Matoran reprogrammed them to help fix the destruction they caused, which they continued to do until they received a signal to return to their nests by the Bahrag.
When the Bahrag were released by the Toa Nuva, the Kohrak swarms awoke and contributed to cleanse the island of Mata Nui. They have since returned to their nest.
[carve] Abilities and Traits
Kohrak consider themselves invincible and are dismissive of danger. Thus, they have no regard for their own safety. They will carry on working until they have no choice but to react. However, they have one weakness: they always confront one on one, rather than as a unified force, forcing them to rely on their formidable individual skills.
[carve] Tools
Kohrak use their Ice Shields to channel their powers.
[carve] Set Information
Kohrak was released as a set in early 2002 with 40 total pieces. Each set included a randomly packed light blue Krana. Kohrak can be combined with Gahlok and Lehvak to create the Bohrok Kaita Ja.
[carve] Trivia
- Several Kohrak were frozen in the drifts of Ko-Wahi, and therefore were unable to return to their nests. These Kohrak were later discovered by Takua and Jaller.
