The Iron Wolf is a species of biomechanical predatory creatures created by the Great Beings.

History
Created on Spherus Magna, as a result of the Great Beings experimenting on existing creatures, the wolves were forced to assist in the war raging on the planet. The wolves were trained to fight by the warrior Surel, who led them into battle.
They eventually arrived on Bara Magna, and were forced to stay on the planet once it broke off from a larger landmass. The wolves eventually migrated to the White Quartz Mountains with Surel, whom they protected from the dangers of the terrain and brought food to, as Surel's injuries that he received in the war prevented him from hunting on his own.
A small hunting pack of the wolves later encountered a search expedition led by Tarduk. The hunting party trailed the team for a while, forcing the Agori to attempt escape maneuvers. Though the wolves were not fooled, they later hung back, luring the party into their den. There, the Agori were confronted by Surel, who explained the history of the wolves. The Element Lords of Ice and Fire soon arrived, battling each other. The wolves retreated from the area, and ran off.
Abilities and Traits
The wolves are a hybrid of metallic and organic parts, a result of their creation. They emit a strange odor from the organic parts of their body.
Excellent hunters and trackers, the wolves were also trained to fight, so that they could help in the Core War on Spherus Magna.
Trivia
- The appearance of the Iron Wolf was created by BZPower Forum Leader -Shannara-, for the KanohiJournal Storyline Contest #3: Iron Wolf MOC Section. It came in first place, and was accepted into the official canon. An art portion of the contest was then held and the three winning entries (one by KanohiJournal reader Vastolorde and two by KanohiJournal reader Toa Kinliku) were also accepted into canon.
