Hydruka are Rahi found in the area near The Pit. The Matoran there tamed and trained them to harvest the air bubbles on the Airweed. While Matoran could harvest Airweed easily, only Hydruka know which plants contain air. One way they defend themselves is by firing Solidified Air Bubbles generated in their tails. They are also immune to the Pit Mutagen. The Hydruka remain in the sea now that Mahri Nui has been destroyed.

[carve] Set Information
Morak and Thulox were each released as small sets in spring 2007, simultaneously with the Matoran Dekar and Defilak. They consisted of 40 parts and 39 parts, respectively, including in each a gunmetal Air Launcher and two Solidified Air Bubbles. Morak chiefly features dark blue armor as well as a new armor piece (released the same year in Takadox and Nocturn) in a blend of transparent blue and glow-in-the-dark plastic. Thulox primarily features dark red armor (on his anterior half) and black armor (on his rear legs) separated by a new armor piece also featured in the Kalmah set and blended from dark red and black plastic.

- The Hydruka are the favorite prey of Barraki Ehlek's Venom Eels.
- Due to the major cuts done to the story in 2007, Morak was never seen in any comics or books. However, Morak did have an entry in the BIONICLE Encyclopedia: Updated.
