The Swords in set form

The Fire Greatswords were the twin Toa Tools that were used by Toa Mangai Lhikan, through which he could channel his Fire powers, or use for melee combat.

The swords could be fitted together to form a shield, a Lavaboard, or a flying board. Lhikan used these swords as a flying board to escape from the Dark Hunters Nidhiki and Krekka at the Great Temple, and later to save the Ta-Matoran Vakama from them.

As a Turaga, the Greatswords were reduced in size, and were used as a shield by Lhikan. They were lost when Lhikan stepped in front of Teridax when he attempted to absorb Vakama, causing the swords to be taken in his place.

Example Usage

In Legends of Metru Nui, Lhikan traveled throughout Metru Nui by flying on his board in order to deliver the Toa Stones he had created.

Set Information

The Fire Greatswords were released in 2004 in the Toa Lhikan & Kikanalo set. They could be formed into a shield, like in the story.
