The Endless Ocean is the ocean which covers the entire surface of the the BIONICLE Planet.

It is unknown who or what created the Endless Ocean, or what its purpose is. However, it is known that there are no natural landmasses located in the ocean.

A little over 1,001 years ago, the Great Spirit Mata Nui fell from space due to a rebellious attack inside him which threw the Great Spirit into unconsciousness. Mata Nui crashed into the Endless Ocean, causing the formation of Voya Nui, which blasted out of the slumbering spirit, and the island of Mata Nui, which was created due to a malfunction in his camouflage system as a result of the crash. Also as a result of the crash, the dome over the prison The Pit was damaged, causing flooding in the prison and prisoners from inside fleeing into the ocean. All the locations have all been, in sequence, returned to their original location, destroyed or repaired.

Since the reawakening of Mata Nui, there is no landmass on the Endless Ocean once more.

The Endless Ocean is simply, as its name suggests, an ocean which covers the entire surface of the planet. While the island of Mata Nui existed, Organic Rahi arrived on the island from an unknown origin. As there are no other landmasses before Mata Nui's crash, the origins of these Rahi remains a mystery.
