The Drill of Onua as seen in Legends of Metru Nui.

The Drill of Onua is Turaga Whenua's Badge of Office. It was originally the Earthshock Drills of Toa Whenua, but was transformed when he became a Turaga.

Shortly before the arrival of the Toa Mata, the drill was stolen by Teridax's Rahi and hidden in Po-Wahi. Takua later recovered it during his quest for the Toa Stones and returned it to Whenua.

In Quest for the Toa, the Drill of Onua was referred to as a "Drillstaff", although it maintained its story role as Turaga Whenua's Badge of Office.
