Comic 8: Sea of Darkness is the eighth comic in the Ignition series and the third comic released in 2007. It features the six Barraki and Nocturn, along with the destroyed Inner Pit, Dekar, and the Zyglak.
[carve] Summary
Nocturn swims after a Barraki, and accidentally frees Kalmah and Takadox, who are fleeing from the Zyglak. Strangely, Mantax is missing. Takadox tricks Nocturn into thinking that the Zyglak insulted him, so Nocturn attacks the creatures.
Meanwhile, Dekar tries to destroy the Ignika, but Kalmah stops him. The Ignika then enlarges a Venom Eel to a gigantic size, and it heads to Mahri Nui.
Pridak, Carapar, and Ehlek arrive and attack Dekar, but the Ignika stops them. Pridak then grabs the mask, but it sends out an enormous energy wave which shakes the Barraki up and changes the Toa Inika forever.
