The Cable Crawler is a Rahi who resides in the cables overlooking Le-Metru. They create their homes there so they may find other, smaller Rahi higher and to feed on.

[carve] Abilties and Traits

Although shy around Matoran, the Cable Crawlers have evolved into a pest, due to their tendency to slice through the thick power cables hanging above Le-Metru, along with other things, such as buildings. The Cable Crawlers do not intentionally do this: their actions are accidents, and happen while they are search for food. Cable Crawlers are also mostly nocturnal, and can be found in the dark of the night hunting.

Along with it's hunting skills, the Cable Crawler has the amazing ability to unleash waves of energy that can distort balance and cause vertigo. They use this technique while hunting, using it on smaller creatures and on larger creatures, so they may escape while the larger Rahi is confused.

The Rahi also have a habit of nesting in cargo holds of Matoran Airships. This was discovered when a Airship, supposedly carrying a shipment of Rahi, flew to the Archives, but, when the it landed, the other Rahi had been eaten by a single Cable Crawler.

The Cable Crawler can be built out of parts from the Vakama Hordika and Whenua Hordika sets. Its upper-right arm features a gear that allows one to operate the elbow joint. A Rhotuka Launcher on its back fires a silver Rhotuka spinner.
