The BIONICLE: Encyclopedia Updated is an encyclopedic look at the entire BIONICLE storyline up to the point of its release, featuring new and updated entries.
Content
Many omissions and entries from the first encyclopedia were included in the guide, while new information was also added such as the entry on the Hand of Artakha. The entries were listed in alphabetical order as in the first encyclopedia. The book also contained information about the events that happened in Invasion, the original BIONICLE Legends #7 book that was cancelled. The entries themselves cover only the events up to Prisoners of the Pit. Unlike the other guide, this one does not come with a short story.
As with the other encyclopedia, this one was dedicated to BS01 Wiki founder Crystal Matrix and former Administrator Pekel, along with other fans of BIONICLE.
Some pages were accidentally not updated from the last version, however. For instance, Whenua's entry claims that "it is still unknown how the Toa Metru reversed their mutation" whereas Vakama's entry gives a detailed description of the events of BIONICLE 3: Web of Shadows.
