Talk:Skull Raiders

From BIONICLEsector01

Do the other Skull Raiders (e.g. Axato) have the energy absorption power as the Skull Creatures? 'Cause Kulta and Basher have. -- Surel-Nuva (Talk) 22:29, 30 August 2016 (CET)

Ugh, the definition of "Skull Creatures" is pretty loose. Grinder, for instance, isn't actually "undead", but Scorpio, Warrior, and Slicer are. So what makes them all Skull Creatures?
Either way, no explicit confirmation as such, so it seems unlikely. -- Dorek Talk External Image 07:30, 31 August 2016 (CET)
So Grinder and Basher have the energy absorption power, because they are the members of the Skull Army, but the other Skull Raiders don't have. -- Surel-Nuva (Talk) 09:45, 31 August 2016 (CET)
Well, Basher I think does, but the power absorbed basically goes TO Skull Grinder, so I don't know if he has the same ability. Makuta gave them that power, is the likely answer. -- Dorek Talk External Image 17:18, 31 August 2016 (CET)
Thanks. -- Surel-Nuva (Talk) 18:12, 31 August 2016 (CET)

Questions regarding the Skull Creatures

Hi, guys. Let me talk about the Skull Creatures.

Basically, the Skull Army are sort of a sub-faction of the Skull Raiders. Clearly, Kulta and Skull Basher were from the Raiders, but they went to the surface to invade it during the events of the 2015 story arc. Kulta created the Skull Army, though Skull Spiders and their Lord existed before the events of the 2015. Kulta, Skull Basher, Skull Warriors, Skull Scorpios, and Skull Slicer are apparently undead because they are showing their bones, right? Kulta survived being crushed by the Raiders' underground city's shattered stuff.

What about the Skull Raiders, including Axato? I mean, would you think they are undead? Escape From the Underground did not describe them as undead, but they are biomechanical and wear black masks. Axato uses a spear that has a black crystal on it (I don't think he uses an Ice Spear, as you guys claim). Ekimu mentioned that the Skull Raiders that trapped the Toa in the book are "descendants" of the ones that attacked Okoto long ago. He also acted like he never met Axato. He revealed Axato's name later in the book when he was translating the Raiders' language. Kulta was defeated by Ekimu before Makuta created the Mask of Ultimate Power, so Kulta has been around for a long time.

As for Kulta, he seems to be taller than the Toa and all of his Skull Army henchmen that came out in 2015 sets, right? Would you think Axato is like at Kulta's height or just around the Toa's height, like the other humanoid Skull Army members (Skull Scorpios and the Lord of Skull Spiders are around the same height, too, right?)? He was having a tough fight against Gali. Ekimu described Axato as tall, and Gali called Axato a "big bully".

As for Skull Basher, he was always with Kulta until Kulta was defeated after Ekimu was reawakened. He sure looks undead, but do you think he and Axato exists before Makuta Betrayal?

The Skull Raiders never tried to absorb the energies of the Toa's Golden Masks. It is possibly because Kulta or Makuta never equipped them with the ability? Kulta is like a scientist The Skull Raiders seem to be interested in hand-to-hand combat, kidnapping people, and killing them. They did ally with the Skull Spiders, too.

So, do you think all of the Skull Creatures except for the Skull Spiders and their Lord are undead? Would you think that Kulta may have given the Raiders the ability to absorb energies of Masks of Power? Would you think what Ekimu meant "descendants" being "these certain Skull Raiders were dead, but got reanimated by Kulta"? Would you think that the Skull Raiders who existed before Makuta's Betrayal are the ones who foight the Toa and Ekimu? I have studying Escape From The Underworld for a couple of hours. Sorry that I asked, but it's nice to be curious.
