Talk:Copper Mask of Victory

From BIONICLEsector01

Appearances for this thing? I am about 20% done with BIONICLE Quest for the Toa and I haven't seen a copper mask yet. Where are the origins of this thing? How do we know about the recipients of these masks? --Boidoh (talk) 03:11, 19 August 2014 (CEST)

It doesn't have appearances in the traditional sense. That is, it being worn or presented. What we know of it comes from bionicle.com back in 2001/2, which was corroborated by its story blurb in BIONCLE Heroes. Not having ever read them, I can't say if they were mentioned in either encyclopedia, but it is likely.
So the general point is, they never really appeared... We were just told of them. --~|RC|~ (Talk/Contribs)

Recipients

How do we know of the recipients of these masks? Some, like Hewkii and Macku, make sense, but what about Hahli for example? Where has it ever been stated she won a copper mask? --Toatapio Nuva (talk) 27 March 2022

From the looks of it, these are characters who are champions; I assume Hahli's would have been from the MoL tournament. That's a start. ~ Wolk (talk) 11:47, 27 March 2022 (UTC)
That's just an assumption though: there's no media stating that copper masks were awarded as prizes for the Kolhii tournament. --Toatapio Nuva (talk) 27 March 2022
Yeah, I've looked around and there's no mention of any of the games rewarding Copper Masks - just that it's rewarded to the champion in village games. In Quest for the Toa, Takua had to beat all six games to be rewarded his mask. It may be from misinterpreting this? ~ Wolk (talk) 12:35, 27 March 2022 (UTC)
I always thought Takua got a copper mask for winning each game, meaning he has six, not only one for all the six.--Surel (Talk) 13:20, 27 March 2022 (UTC)
It is only unlocked in the game after you have beaten all six. And, as one of the dialogue lines go: “If you win all the village games, you get the Copper Mask!” ~ Wolk (talk) 06:14, 28 March 2022 (UTC)
