Alternate covers

I've seen some books have alternate covers, but notice that some I've seen around the internet are not there. Before I uploaded them, I wanted to be sure they were not excluded before for reasons I do not know.

  1. This one for Time Trap
  2. This one for Island of Doom

Those don't seem like alternate covers if they have a "For Solicitation Only" tag on them. Perhaps posters to promote the books? Or they might have been sample covers. ζω·τωμαναExternal Image
Either way, could be worth having in one of our galleries. Should we add them? LockmanCapulet Crusty relics! 07:22, 4 May 2014 (CEST)

I found more, and some of these seem to have context.

  1. This one for Mask of Light on Bionicle Wikia says "Scholastic Book Fair edition" on its article.
  2. This BZP article from 2005 contains lots of different covers, including the Time Trap one above. However, these are slanted and a bit fuzzy.
    1. Rahi Beasts
    2. Web of Shadows
    3. Encyclopedia
    4. Time Trap
    5. Web of Shadows (DVD)

I dunno if they should be added or not. If you do, just make sure to actually put them into a gallery with appropriate labeling. I have enough of a mess to crawl through on the Unused Files page =P ζω·τωμαναExternal Image

I suppose I'm not opposed, but they're placeholder covers, so that basically falls under prototype pics policy; not entirely noteworthy (although that'll change if/when the set database finally makes it =P). -- I AM THE DOREK do not truffle with me 05:47, 6 May 2014 (CEST)

Quotes

Shouldn't we include Greg Farshtey's personal quotes in the books written by him? I think all the adventures & legends novels have quotes like this one from the Inferno : For Debby and Roy. -- Surel-Nuva (Talk) 13:30, 3 November 2016 (CET)

Back cover

What do you guys think about adding the short introductions from the back covers to top-center quote to their representative books? Like this. And if a book had a center quote, it would be rearranged into a "quotes" section. — SurelNuva (Talk) 21:22, 22 July 2017 (CET)
