Talk:Akilini

Animation/picture

Does there exist any kind of animation or picture of the sport being played?--BlueSwede92 (talk) 01:30, 24 October 2017 (UTC)

Not to my knowledge. I think the closest we got was the Coliseum sequence in Legends of Metru Nui, but that just showed an Akilini field rather than the game. -- Morris the Mata Nui Cow (talk) 06:01, 24 October 2017 (UTC)

The Latest Akilini Scores

"Now what shall we talk about? The economy of Stelt? The latest akilini scores?"
— Makuta Teridax, Dwellers In Darkness

This quote in DID chapter 8 implies that the Matoran of Metru Nui continued to play Akilini after their return, and were playing it at the time when Teridax was occupying the Core Processor. Is there any confirmation of this? -- Toa Jala Converse 18:22, 25 September 2021 (UTC)

With taking it out of context I always thought it was just his way of taunting the others, a way of saying that he cares more about these "facts" than having them in the Core Processor, without actually meaning that there were new akilini scores aside the ones before the Great Cataclysm. But with context it was just a name drop, as a mention of an insignificant thing compared to the "end of your universe" from the actual end of his monologue--Surel (Talk) 18:30, 25 September 2021 (UTC)

Number of Players

In the special games that happened 4 times a year, this says there were 12 players per team, but rule 2 clearly states that there can be no more than 6. Does anyone have an explanation for this, or should we just say it's unexplained? Firespitter Lhii (talk) 22:10, 28 April 2022 (UTC)

Good catch. Yeah, it's best to just put a trivia point or a note pointing out the contradiction. ~ Wolk (talk) 07:20, 29 April 2022 (UTC)
