Injured Stinger Whale
An injured Stinger Whale was once found and nursed back to health by the Matoran of Mahri Nui. It was armed with a large, metal claw and a Cordak Blaster and used as transportation and for battle by the Toa Mahri.
The Toa Mahri and Matoran later departed the seas, and the injured Stinger Whale was released from service.
Abilities and Traits
Stinger Whales are capable of carrying one passenger. They have twenty-five centimeter (ten inch) thick armor and can reach a maximum speed of thirty knots (55.56 Kmph/34.7 Mph).
The injured Stinger Whale was fitted with a Cordak Blaster and a large claw for battle against the Barraki after being nursed back to health.
The Stinger Whale which the Matoran of Mahri Nui nursed back to health served as the focus of 8926 Toa Undersea Attack playset in 2007. The Stinger Whale's mouth could open to act as a cockpit for one minifigure, and its mechanical claw could extend or retract on a piston.
