The Archives Beast was a bizarre Rahi found in the lower levels of the Archives, believed to have some connection to the Random Reconstitution Kanoka power.
History
The species of the Archives Beast was created by the Makuta using Viruses and Liquid Protodermis to be one of the Rahi to inhabit the Matoran Universe.[2] The only known specimen was stored in a sub-level of the Archives, under tight lock and key.
When Toa Whenua and Toa Nuju came into its cell in search of the Onu-Metru Great Disk, the Rahi had taken on the appearance of an empty room. The Rahi grew claws from its interior and began to change shape, trapping the Toa. However, Toa Nuju created a blizzard in the cell, discomforting the Rahi, which then threw the Toa out of its cell.[3]
After the Battle of Bara Magna, this Rahi migrated to Spherus Magna along with all of the population of the Matoran Universe.[1]
